Control the memories that Pieces captures

Control the memories that Pieces captures

Pieces, an innovative limitless AI assistant, captures memories from across all the applications you use, that you allow it access to. Stay secure and private by managing the applications that the LTM engine can see, embodying a privacy-first approach.

Enable and disable memory capture from individual applications

Once Pieces has seen an application, memory capture can be configured on an application-by-application basis, allowing you to turn capture on and off for individual applications as needed.

This personalized AI approach ensures you have full control over your data. If you have HR or accounting systems that you don't want memories captured from – disable them from the Pieces taskbar or menu bar app.

Disable the Long-Term Memory engine when needed

If you need privacy for some time, you can turn off the LTM engine until you are back on less private work. This feature aligns with Pieces' privacy-first approach, ensuring your sensitive information remains secure. Memory capture can be disabled for fixed periods, during a 30-minute meeting, or turned on and off as required.

Delete captured memories on a time or application-by-application basis

If you capture memories that need to be kept private, you can clear memories for a specific application, or for a time range. Delete all the memories from that application when you disable it.

Spent an hour working on a confidential document and forgot to disable the Long-Term Memory engine? Quickly delete memories for the past hour.

  • You need to try pieces out if you write code and feel that you need a true second brain, where you can basically store any function or code you've ever written and can use it again and again and again.

  • Everyone's got a copilot. You're inverted, you've rotated the whole thing. It's not a vertical copilot, it's a horizontal one.

  • Pieces Copilot has become much more efficient for any developer to ask any question and get a particular result. The LLMs in Pieces are sensitive to programming, so I think that gives better results.

  • I was playing around with live context, and just wow, I’m speechless. I mean, this is not just a coding assistant anymore, it’s a mentor that knows literally everything, a guardian angel.
