With the upgrade to version 11.1.0, we replaced our underlying data infrastructure to improve performance and reliability. Unfortunately, there was a critical issue during the migration process that affected your data when we transitioned from our old technology to the new system.

What if I don't need my data?

If you do not care about retaining the data from your previous version of PiecesOS, you can remove existing PiecesOS-related data and start fresh with version 11.1.0. Please note this action is irreversible.

To remove data, remove the folder at the following file path depending on your operating system:

macOS: ~/Users/user/Library/com.pieces.os/production/Pieces
Windows: C:/Users/user/Documents/com.pieces.os/production/Pieces
Linux: ~/Users/user/Documents/com.pieces.os/production/Pieces

macOS: ~/Users/user/Library/com.pieces.os/production/Pieces
Windows: C:/Users/user/Documents/com.pieces.os/production/Pieces
Linux: ~/Users/user/Documents/com.pieces.os/production/Pieces
